What We BelieveYes, all of this is for your sake; so that grace, as it extends to more and more people,

may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God... (2 Corinthians 4:15)

First and foremost, the people of St. Luke believe in the God, revealed in the pages of the Bible, who is constantly in the business of transforming lives - not with judgment but with unconditional love.

Our Mission & Core Values                   Our 5-year Strategic Plan

While we are Lutheran, and celebrate the rich heritage that offers us, we also understand ourselves to be an all-denominational church because the God revealed in the Bible is far larger than any one church or denomination! Above all, it is our goal to be formed into his disciples so that God can use us to change the world with his grace and mercy, one person at a time.
Our Pastor was trained in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, which welcomes all people regardless of age, race, or status in life.
We believe we are called to be an engaged, active body of people who put faith in God into action -- in millions of ways, all over the world. Join us!

If you would like to learn more about the ELCA, we would invite you to visit What We Believe, found on the main ELCA.org site.

Our Communion Invitation: We believe that Christ's table is open to all baptized believers, regardless of church or denominational affiliation. If you believe as we do that Christ comes to us in this meal, you are welcome to come forward for Communion.
