Quilting, Sewing & Knitting/Crocheting Ministries

Peacemaker Quilters

Our Peacemaker Quilters meet at 9:30am the second Thursday of every month.  We work throughout the year to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief.  The quilts are blessed on Quilt Sunday in the fall, packed up and shipped to locations around the world.

Click here for more information on Lutheran World Relief's quilt project.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry meets the third Thursday everyother month at 9:00am.  They knit or crochet prayer shawls for baptisms or people who are ill or need prayers.

If you know of someone who is ill, feeling down or has just lost a loved one, please take a prayer shawl for them. There are some available in the gathering space or call the church office 262-644-6003.

St. Luke Blessed Sewers

The mission of the St. Luke Blessed Sewers is to work alongside the Quilts of Valor Foundation who's main goal is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing quilts.  St. Luke Blessed Sewers always welcome help and no quilting experience is necessary.  All ages are welcome!  Help us pin, cut, iron and even learn how to quilt.  They meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 4-8pm in the lower level quilting room.  Click here to learn more about the Quilts of Valor Organization.

If you would like more information about any of these ministries please call or email the church office.
